After that we went to the procession for the wedding between King Henry VIII and his 6th wife Kathryn. It was a reenactment and we all stood around and cheered them on and listened to them as they addressed the crowd. Some of the actors got really into it but I enjoyed it.We then went to look at the palace kitchens. As many know, the kitchen is always my favorite part of any home. These were no exception. They were several rooms big. The most common dish prepared (and still commonly prepared today) is the meat pie. They had a room for the butchering of the meat, a room for cooking the meat, one for making the pastry dough, and then a large dinning room.
